Coffee drinks are a national obsession and there are countless ways to customize this most popular morning beverage. Espresso may not be quite as common in the United States as the fancier, flavored concoctions, but they're a classic favorite for folks who appreciate a strong, concentrated flavor and efficient caffeine delivery.
Even if you like espresso, though, chances are that you don't have an espresso maker at home. But a company called UniTerra has developed a product that doesn't require electricity or batteries and it claims that the flavor rivals those expensive commercial espresso machines. It's called Nomad and just like the name, it can travel anywhere with you. You just add coffee and hot water and then pump the lever for instant espresso.
There's currently a Kickstarter campaign underway for the Nomad. With four days left as of this writing, the project's received $96,357 of its $100,000 goal, which all but guarantees the Nomad will be funded. Espresso lovers, unite!
